Arrows, WASD, and space to interact. Hold and then release space to dive.

About

Swim and dive through Atlantis, use your air wisely, rescue the sea creatures to regain life, pick up trash from the ocean to increase your held breath.

Notes from the creator

GFX used where from Itch.io cco and some paid for, music and effects mostly from freegameart.org . I really enjoyed the jam, but admittedly towards the end it was grueling.  There was more to add, sadly due to time there where cuts, but all in all I am happy with the project. Made with Godot, the scope was to make a fun but chill game, bright clean visuals and a nice audio mix, thanks for playing.

That's some really good work with sound. I like both sound effects and especially music. I hope could do something similar to the main soundtrack some day.

Art is really nice too. Really ads up to retro game vibe that mixes interestingly with overall non-arcade mood of the project. For some reason I had a feeling that something is off with pixel density. This kind of feeling that you usually have when it's not consistent between different sprites, but it's not the case there, so I think it's just me, don't know where it came from

Towers is really good mechanic to add, helps to save some air by diving faster then usual. I think indication of how many wild life in danger and litter left would help me with the feeling of progress and accomplishment. I've reached the right end with freeing two fishes in a row, but I still feel like I missed something.

Also, I didn't quite get the "Hold and then release space to dive." part in description. Could you please tell how do I do that? Dive jumps from towers work just from pressing spacebar and while in water holding and releasing spacebar doesn't do anything

works better on the 2nd and 3rd diving boards, spacebar press does dive but shallower, hold and release to get to the bottom, i wanted to do a bar as a visual but time in the jam and life was limited as usual...

This is such a fun little game! I think I finished it as I couldn't go further right (not sure - no indication if it was the end of the map) :3  I really enjoyed cleaning up trash and rescuing sea creatures. Love the diving mechanic! Would love to see more updates, like, speed upgrades, higher diving boards, deeper darker waters.
